Start with the original source.

We prioritize county documents, public notices, business announcements, event organizers, and other firsthand sources. News coverage can point us toward a story, and we credit original reporting when we use it. We write original articles and link readers to the material behind them.

Make the status clear.

A proposal is not an approval. An approval is not construction. A target opening date is not an open business. We distinguish what is confirmed from what remains uncertain and attach dates to time-sensitive information.

Check before publication.

Our publishing process includes a source check and a final editorial check. Names, dates, numbers, locations, and image rights must pass before a story can be released. A story with unresolved factual questions is held. Checks reduce mistakes; they do not eliminate them.

Use photos honestly.

Every article includes a photo with a documented right to use it. We credit photographers and identify archival photos, illustrations, and renderings. We choose a distinct photo for each story. When a verified photo of the subject is unavailable, we use a clearly labeled generic detail. We don’t substitute a different park, restaurant, neighborhood, road, or team for the one in the story.

Be clear about the publisher.

The Parrish Brief is published by Trenton Miller, a real estate agent with LPT Realty. That professional interest is visible throughout the site. Contact invitations are separate from the facts in our stories. Any future paid placement will be labeled.

Correct the record.

Send corrections to trenton@foundyourflorida.com with the story link and the information that needs checking. Material corrections will be dated and explained on the article. If a claim cannot be supported, it will be removed or the story withdrawn.

Publication timing.

The planned morning edition is 7 a.m. Eastern. Only stories that clear the publication checks are eligible. On a quiet day, we may publish fewer stories rather than repeat old information as new.
