Parrish Community’s volleyball team has found a September rhythm: win, sweep, repeat.

The Bulls beat Palmetto 25–8, 25–19, 25–10 on the road Tuesday, September 15, stretching their winning streak to four matches and improving to 8–5. Palmetto fell to 5–10.

The Tigers made the second set the closest of the night, finishing six points back. Parrish held them to single digits in the opener and 10 in the third. Across the three sets, the Bulls outscored Palmetto 75–37.[1]

That makes three consecutive 3–0 victories, following home wins over Manatee and North Port. Add the 2–0 tournament win over Saint Stephen’s Episcopal on September 5, and Parrish has taken 11 sets in a row.

The run has turned a 4–5 record into 8–5. It has not changed the Bulls’ 0–3 district mark; Tuesday’s match was a non-district contest. The next listed district opportunity comes September 29, when Sarasota visits Parrish.[2][1]

Before then, the schedule gets crowded. Parrish is listed to face Circle Christian at 6 p.m. and Windermere at 7 p.m. Friday, September 18, followed by Harmony at noon Saturday. All three are tournament fixtures.

The Bulls then travel to Lemon Bay on September 22. Palmetto gets a return match at Parrish on Thursday, September 24, at 7 p.m.

For now, the Bulls head into the weekend with something they did not have at the start of the month: four straight wins and a set streak worth protecting.[2]
