The errand that can turn into an outing
A grocery run has a way of taking over the calendar. You leave for three things, remember six more, and suddenly the afternoon belongs to Publix.
Market Walk gives that trip another possibility: coffee or ice cream nearby. The North River Ranch center is anchored by Publix, and Foxtail has its own location on Moccasin Wallow Road. For Parrish, that is the sort of everyday convenience worth knowing about.[1][2]
Start with Foxtail
Foxtail’s North River Ranch shop is at 11687 Moccasin Wallow Road, Building 3, Unit 101. Its location page lists Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream along with coffee, plus beer and wine.
I like the flexibility in that lineup. Coffee can be the reason to meet a friend; ice cream can give a routine errand a better ending. You do not need a grand occasion to put either one on the calendar.
Posted hours are 6 a.m.–8 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 6 a.m.–9 p.m. Friday and Saturday. That gives the location a role beyond the early-morning coffee stop. The phone is 941-981-3030.[2]
Then there is the Publix part of the plan
The Publix here is store 1848 at 11635 Moccasin Wallow Road. Save that address separately from Foxtail’s; the two are distinct stops. Publix lists 941-981-6157 for the store.
Here is my version of the Publix test: can a place make an ordinary week easier? A grocery store, a coffee meeting, and a dessert stop are small things individually. Put useful stops together and they start to shape how people spend their time close to home.
For a specific department, use the store’s own hours. The pharmacy and the grocery store have separate listings, so check the service you actually need.[3]
One distinction worth keeping straight
Market Walk and the larger planned NRR Village are different parts of the North River Ranch story. The developer describes future village uses on the same page as existing retail, which makes it easy for several stages of development to blur together.
An operating coffee shop is something you can use now. A planned restaurant space becomes a dinner option when an operator actually opens it. We will keep following those milestones as the area grows.[1]
My take
The food-and-drink story in Parrish is about more than the next grand opening. It is also about having more choices for an ordinary Tuesday: where to meet, where to stop, and whether a simple outing needs to send you out of town.
For a low-key plan here, I’d choose coffee or ice cream as the reason to meet and work the errands around it. That seems like a better use of the afternoon than letting the grocery list make every decision.
